Ijoy Capo Squonker Box Mod Review

Last Updated: Jul 29, 2021

The Capo squonker box mod includes two different types of refillable squonking bottles, which are interchangeable to suit your preference.

The lightweight 100w device features an aesthetic matte finish and safety features, which could easily contend with other regulated squonker mods on the market.

Personal Opinion:

This device is lightweight and small, it has a smooth matte finish which feels very nice in hand making it very easy to hold due to it not having an awkward shape, it also fits easily into pockets.
The device packs quite a punch for the small device it is, truly proving that looks may be deceiving with its maximum wattage output of 100w.

It is clear that iJoy has put some thought into the bottles, as both bottles supplied with the device have markings on them to clearly denote how much liquid is left in the bottle which can prove to be handy at times, it is also easy to remove the bottle from the device by pushing down on the indicated area.

The battery is inserted into a slot in the top and is covered by a cap similar to the method seen on the SMOK AL85, this enables an easier way to change batteries rather than the conventional method used by most devices where the batteries are loaded in the bottom of a device, it also ensures that there is no way of liquid leaking out of the atomiser by trying to change batteries, as you would not have to turn the device upside down to get the batteries out!

I personally preferred the soft silicone bottle as opposed to the hard silicone bottle as it felt a bit more durable in my opinion.
Where I feel the device fell short was the fact that it did not have a temperature control mode, which I feel would have boosted an already amazing device into something even better.

IJOY has even thought about the support of 21700, 20700, and 18650 batteries to ensure that almost anyone can use the device straight out of the box without worrying about if they have the correct battery for it.
Overall this device has impressed me with its simplicity and its ease of use.

iJoy has produced their first squonking device which has delivered nearly all the features which could have been asked for by those looking for their first squonker and those who are squonker savvy, both of which would be delighted by the build quality and functionality of the device.

The iJoy Capo Squonker is a device which is geared towards those who feel comfortable with regulated devices as the device is easy and simple to use, not overcomplicated and still has all of the safety features which are usually found in a regulated device such as short circuit protection, low battery warnings, and a device too hot warning.
I feel that the Capo squonker will definitely be a successful device on the market due to its simplicity, functionality, aesthetic and the ability to be compatible with three different types of batteries.
