Little Power House

I'd had a couple of Uwell Nunchaku 2 mods which I really liked. Battery life with 21700 batteries was pretty good but I did find I had to swap batteries a few times during the day or keep recharging - running out of power at an inconvenient time. I was drawn towards the idea of something which would pack a couple of 21700s to give longer battery life. I really do like the tube mod format because I find it most comfortable to hold but I wasn't going to let that put me off something a little more "boxy" if that would give me longer lasting battery life. I liked the look of the Evdilo from a hand comfort point of view, more rounded and contoured than a straight edged box - it does sit comfortably in my hand.

I'm using it with the Nunchaku tank and vaping at the low end, 50w and the double batteries keep me going pretty much all day. If I'm not able to add a bit of charge during the day then I do still have to swap batteries at some point but I'm not constantly thinking about the battery running out.

As I said, this feels comfortable in my hand and has a solid weight and feel to it. After the Nunchaku 2 I like having a physical power up / down button back again although I have fallen foul of it on one occasion. As I said, I normally vape this down at 50w, I'd popped the mod in my coat pocket getting out of the car and the next time I vaped I didn't check the power setting. Somehow I'd accidentally increased the power to 199w and only realised when I fired it. Yes, there is a "lock" function - I'm too lazy to lock it though :) I'll just make sure that I check the power setting before vaping - duh. Obviously not a fault of the mod in any way - user error.

The only other "problem" I've suffered is with the battery cover. I was a little sloppy in how I slid the cover back into place on one occasion and the cover became stuck, not properly closed at the bottom but still firmly attached at the top. I tried using a screwdriver to lever the cover back and managed to cause a slight scratch (hardly visible) but still hadn't got the cover back off. I ended up just slapping the cover in a downward motion and that did the trick. Has been fine since, not happened again and I know to be more careful when popping the cover back on after a battery swap. User error again.

In conclusion, I really like it. It does of course feel "wider" in my hand than the Nunchaku 2, it will - it is. But it's still comfortable to use in either hand. It delivers the same style of vape experience as the Nunchaku but with double the battery life - which is what I was after. Of course the Evdilo will deliver twice the power output of the Nunchaku if needed but I was after longer battery life rather than greater power output. I'm quite happy using this at 50w all day. Don't really like the name, I would have preferred a Uwell logo on the mod rather than Evdilo - but of no real concern to me.
