Temperature Control Mods

A lot of mods now come with the added extra of being able to function on Temperature Control (TC) mode. When a mod is put into a specific temperature mode, it is designed to be used with the corresponding wire. The main temperature control modes that mods normally function on would be Titanium (Ti), Stainless Steel (SS316 / SS316L), Nickel (Ni200 / Ni80) or Nichrome (NiCr).

What is Temperature control?

Temperature Control gives you the ability to set a maximum temperature your coils will reach and your vape kit will alter the power output to ensure that coils never reach beyond the set limit. Temperature control mode was developed to stop the occurrence of burnt coils or dry hits, when used properly your coils will never run too hot and subsequently will never burn.

Why is my Vape to hot?

If it's the cloud production that's too hot and not your actual device or tank, it's likely down to the airflow and wattage control power you're using. The higher your wattage power, the higher temperature your coil reaches and the hotter the vapour will be coming out of the drip tip.

What does SS mode mean?

Stainless Steel Mode (or SS Mode) is working perfectly with stainless steel wire. Stainless steel is possibly the most flexible of coiling materials, as its heating effects allow it to be compatible with Power Mode and SS Temperature Control Mode. This mode is best to use with rebuildable tanks as RTA, RDA, RDTA.

What is Ohm?

The ohms level is a way of measuring a level of electrical resistance. The standard or regular level of ohm when it comes to vape and your tank is between 2.4 and 2.8. This is by far the most common ohm range chosen by those looking for replacement coils, with the most commonly chosen being 2.5. This standard level tends to offer the most consistent level for your e smoke.
