Fancier than you thought!
The UWell Fancier is a tank that has genuinely surprised me, and I mean that. If you are not familiar already, the Fancier is a rebuildable tank which can be also used as a dripper.
When I was first given the Fancier, I kind of put it to the side and didn’t think anything of it but sometimes as you drip, you get these urges to stop dripping if you know what I mean so the Fancier was a good choice. I could build my own coils at my favourite resistance and never touch a bottle, it all sounded so good and it got even better!
You see, the thing about the Fancier is the wicking. In conventional tanks, the tank surrounds the coil and every vape forces liquid onto the coils due to pressure. Others have the build deck on top of the tank, and the juice wicks up to it from the tank below and although it might work sometimes, I never had a tank that used this pressure system and work flawlessly. The Fancier’s platform however is located on the bottom, with the tank above it, this allows for gravity to pull the liquid down onto the coils. The platform has a sort of scaffold above the deck which captures the wicks and forces the juice down. In terms of visibility, Uwell call their glass a viewing window, it has a printed pattern on it which was confusing because the whole premise was to allow you to see your coils which is a little weird because the printed pattern hid it… I however flipped the tank upside down and set the printed portion to the top where the juice tank is. Doing that let me see my coils incase of any hotspots came through and gave me a nice little effect when I fired it as the vapour bunched up inside which I thought was kind of cool.
It is by far one of the nicest tanks I have ever used and for around £30 it’s unbeatable! Im serious, I used it non-stop, took it home and used it every single day until one fateful Monday when I dropped it getting out of the car. My life was empty now, since my go to tank was no more… to my surprise however, something unexpected happened, the tank did not shatter into a billion pieces all over the street, it only chipped. Granted it is still unusable since following that, a large cavity formed but I digress.
