What does RDA, RTA and RDTA mean?
The "R" in all of the above stands for rebuildable. Each RDA, RTA and RDTA are rebuildable atomizers, meaning that the coils or heating elements are built by the user.
RDA: Stands for Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer. These Atomizers have no tank and the wicking material needs to be re-saturated manually, by “dripping” a few drops of E-liquid between vaping.
RTA: Stands for Rebuildable Tank Atomizer. These Atomizers have a tank, but also need to be built manually. These Atomizers commonly have the coil chamber in the centre, just like a normal tank.
RDTA: Stands for Rebuildable Tank Atomizer. This term was given to a lesser-known tank type known as “Genesis”. These Atomizers commonly had a building platform above the tank, where a wick was fed from the top into the tank.
