Uwell Crown 5 Tank is the new and upgraded sub ohm tank from the Uwell's Crown series, continues the course by obtaining a similar design to its predecessor, the Crown IV Vape Tank, and adds some new technical features. In terms of appearance, Uwell Crown 5 Tank is shorter but wider, made in the majority of stainless steel, and a pyrex glass, which provides up to 2ml of vape e liquid capacity. The Uwell Crown 5 Vape Tank adopts a simplified turn top fill system, which helps plenty towards quicker refills for faster, and thanks to the additional silicone seal, the e liquid will be mostly sealed inside the tank, without any leaks occurring.

Crown v vs Freemax Mesh Pro

I have been using this tank now for just under a month, and I have a mixed review. Coming from a freemax mesh pro, I was originally looking for the freemax mpro2 but I couldn't find the right colour combination for my tank, and I always wanted to try something new.

The crown V is a much neater fit for my drag mod and overall I'd say it's aesthetically a lot better than the mesh pro tanks. The vape on the single mesh 0.23 coil tastes just as good and vapes really well at 50w even though its recommended 65-70w... the coils also easily last me 2 weeks. I'd advise that the larger bubble glass is mandatory and unfortunately you cant order it from UK ecig store. When it comes to the dual mesh coil, in my opinion steer clear! coils burn out fast, the draw is way too tight for a sub ohm tank and the flavour isn't as good as the single.. I am yet to try the triple mesh.

The child lock top is a bit flimsy but hasn't come off by its self yet. The rubber membrane where you fill the tank up has split apart and broken in just a months use. I've only had one dud coil that leaked badly from new, but I also managed to sort it out so no big deal.

Overall I'd say this is a decent tank, but not the be all and end all. I'm still tempted to go after the freemax mesh pro 2 and try that.
