Our mission
Every smoker who wants to quit deserves a better option. We’ve spent 14 years making sure they have one.
In 2012, if you wanted to quit smoking through vaping, you were on your own. The products could be poor quality. The advice was worse. And the people selling to you had no idea what they were talking about.
We built UK ECIG STORE to fix that. Fourteen years later, we’re still one of the only UK-owned independent vape retailer that’s been here from the beginning. We haven’t been acquired. We haven’t been backed by a tobacco company. We answer to our customers, not a boardroom.
We tell you what works. We tell you what doesn’t. And we’ve been doing it longer than anyone else in the UK who still does it independently.

How we got here.
2012
Founded. One of the first online vape retailers in the UK.
Two brothers who were life-long smokers, discovered that vaping helped them quit. They built UK ECIG STORE to give every smoker the same option, with products that actually worked.
2013
First UK retailer to import premium USA e-liquid brands.
The American market was years ahead of the UK in e-liquid flavour development. We imported them first. We also opened London’s first dedicated vape shop, with a tasting table offering over 100 flavours. It was featured on Sky News.
2014
Launched The One Kit — our most popular product ever.
Designed specifically for smokers switching to vaping. The One Kit is simple, reliable, and still one of the best-selling starter kits in the UK more than a decade later.
2015
Grew to multiple London stores, including the Fleet Street flagship.
Over 3,000 sq ft dedicated to vaping products, a vape lounge, and expert staff. One of the UK’s largest dedicated vape spaces. It proved there was real demand for knowledgeable, independent vaping retail.
2016
TPD regulations introduced. We were ready.
The EU’s Tobacco Products Directive brought sweeping changes to vape products sold in the UK. Because we’d worked directly with manufacturers from day one on quality and compliance, we were ahead of the curve.
2019
The One Kit featured in a landmark Queen Mary University study.
Published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the study found e-cigarettes were twice as likely to help smokers quit compared to traditional nicotine replacement therapy. The One Kit was the device used.
2025
Single-use disposable vapes banned in the UK.
We’d been helping customers transition to rechargeable alternatives long before the ban. No scramble, no panic — just a sensible shift we’d been guiding people towards for years.
2026
Fully online. Still independent.
We moved to an online-only model — faster, leaner, and available to customers across the whole UK. Fourteen years in, we’re still here, still independent, and still doing the one thing we set out to do.
