The RPM Series is Smok's newest game changer in the pod kit category. The RPM80 Pro Kit includes the new stylish RPM 80 Pro Pod Mod, two pods and two coils. The RPM80 RPM pods are compatible with all RPM40 coils and the RPM80 RGC Pod uses the new RGC Conical Mesh 0.17 Ohm coil that supports power of up to 80W.
Another great feature of the RPM80 Pro Kit is that it uses an external 18650 battery which gives this vape kit a longer life and will give you a lot of usage between charges.
The Smok RPM80 Pro RPM Pods are compatible with the Smok RPM40 range of coils.
Please note: Images above are of Non-TPD Compliant versions. Your order will include a 2ml TPD Compliant pod, with a rubber lock.
What makes Smok RPM80 Pro Pod Kit Coils sub ohm?
First of all, let's clarify what Ohms are. An ohm is the measure of electrical resistance of the coil inside a pod or tank. It is normally shown using this symbol - Ω. The more wraps a coil has and the thinner said wire is, the higher the resistance and fewer, thicker wraps of wire tend to be a lower resistance. Any atomizer coil with a resistance bellow 1.00 ohms such as (0.50, 0.15, etc.) is a sub ohm coil.
Do all Smok RPM40 Replacement Coils fit all tanks?
Some manufacturers design their tanks to use the same replacement coils across their entire range however, this is not always the case and in fact it's pretty rare. We recommend making a note of your tanks coil compatibility in order to purchase the correct coils.
What liquid is best for Smok RPM 80 Pro?
What's The Best E Juice To Run In SMOK RPM80 Pro? Because it can run both sub-ohm and MTL coils, you can run both Nic Salts and standard, high VG E Juice in the SMOK RPM80 Pro. If you are looking for a low nic level, stick with High Vg liquids on Sub-Ohm coils, otherwise if u are looking to use MTL coils, 50% PG or higher are recommended.

When we look at pod mods, we will always remember the pioneer that has been the SMOK RPM40. A Pod kit capable of running Sub Ohm coils and variable in wattage, was something unforeseen. And here we go, as vaping changes, so did the RPM line.
The RPM 80 comes with an explosion, attempting to become the next game changer in the market, again. The clear difference from its predecessor is the power! The chipset has received an upgrade too, the new IQ-80 has upgraded many of the components from the original RPM40, which offers a variety of safety protections and smart features. The RPM now is capable of running from 1 W, all the way to 80W, making it a device that lacks nothing when compared to a lot of sub ohm devices out there.
It can now read much lower resistances of coils, as it comes with two different types of pods. The first one being the RPM pod, which is compatible with all the RPM coils released in the past. The second one is a new introduction to the Smok family, new and enhanced RGC, equipped with mesh coils capable of compressing the flavour in order to improve E-liquids taste! Both pods come in the box, and are pre-equipped with each compatible coil.
Now, let's talk about battery capacity. The RPM 80 Pro rejects the built in design, to make space for a single 18650 battery of your choice (sold separately). The way I have used it is by keeping one battery in charge externally and using a fully charged one with the device. This way, i do not have to wait for a battery to charge, and when depleted, i can just change it for a fully charged one. I am confident this would work out well for most of us!
The design of the device does not make a drastic change from the predecessor, with the main difference being the height and therefore slightly increasing the weight of the device. The color options are more dissimilar, with the aim to give more appeal and reach while making the choice!
Please note that, if you do not like to operate the device with an internal battery, the SMOK RPM80 Pro is also available, powered by a single 18650 external battery (sold separately) .
To conclude, I am really amazed at how far Smok has come with the RPM series yet, and this will definitely rival most single battery devices out there, with its simplicity to use and redefined features!
