As suggested by the name, the RPM 85 by Smok goes up to 85W which is impressive for the device's size. It is still relatively small and won't weigh down your pocket as a sub-ohm kit would whilst still giving you a spot-on sub-ohm vaping experience.

The device is available in 8 stunning designs which are modern and futuristic. Featured is a 0.96" colour screen on which you can see all your essential vaping data. To change things like wattage and modes, use the + and - buttons. The button above the screen is a fire button which you use to turn the kit on/off (5 quick clicks) and to fire the coil (hold).

Charing the built-in 3000mAh battery is quick and easy thanks to the UCB-C charging port. You will be back up and running in no time as Smok's fast-charging technology is one of the best in the game.

Smok has given us a tank-like pod that sits on top of the RPM 85 which has a 2ml capacity and a convenient slide-to-fill, top-filling, system. This childproof pod is secure and has been fitted with some reliable leakproof features to save you the hassle.

You get 1 x RMP85/100(RPM 3) Pod with the kit and an RPM 2 version is also available if you wish to use the RMP 2 Coils. Both sets of coils can be used for sub-ohm and restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) vaping and the airflow can be adjusted to suit both.

Easy-to-use rotating airflow ring lets you pick and choose between different airflow settings so that you can maximise the performance to suit you the most.

Filling the device is also super easy! Just slide the cap off to the side, exposing the fill port which is covered by a slit silicone sheet. The silicone is in place to prevent any leakages.

The magnets that hold the device and the pod together are nice and strong so don't worry about them coming apart. A strong connection also helps with consistency when it comes to coil connection so every puff should be exactly the same.
