Fetch Mini Vs Fetch Pro! What’s The Difference?
After we saw the Smok RPM80’s ascent following the success of the RPM40, the first pod mod released by Smok UK, today we want to talk to you about one of the latest releases by this top e-cigarette brand, the Smok Fetch Pro. The Fetch Mini was released not too long after the RPM40, and it has been fairly popular, due to its shape and the variety of the coils available for the device.
Now the Fetch Pro takes charge of the line, and attempts to bring it in the same direction of the RPM range, with newly implemented features and an incredible new design!
Firstly I would like to say that the new look of the device is much improved, not only aesthetically, but the location of the screen and the function buttons is smarter. Now you can look at the screen after a puff, without having to turn around your device.
The upgraded chip is also welcomed, as now you are not only restricted to a 40W vaping power like with the Fetch Mini, but it does go up to 80W, allowing more vapour production out of the device, and to get more flavour from your E-Liquid and the coils utilised for Direct to Lung vaping.
The Fetch Mini had a 1500mAh Lithium battery integrated with the device, and for the time, having such a small and light device capable of that much battery power, was quite impressive. Although, if you mainly made use of DTL vaping, you would have seen your battery draining fairly quickly, and therefore, you would keep it on charge more than you wanted to.
Well the Fetch Pro improves on that, not by only changing the USB port, from the usual Micro USB to the more effective and faster charging USB Type-C, but by making the battery external! Now it’s possible to choose the various types of 18650 batteries you want to use. Typically 18650 batteries start at around 2500mAh each, and ideally one can have multiple on charge, and when the battery inside the device is depleted, it can easily be switched out for a fully charged one, without having to wait between charges, in order to use your device at maximum power.
Now the new pods are side filling as opposed to the bottom filled Fetch Mini, which prevents occasional leaks that happened with the older Pods.
