About This Product

Following the vastly popular original Sceptre Pod Kit, Innokin has released the updated Sceptre 2. With an upgraded 1400mAh battery and a stunning new design.

The shell is made of a hard-wearing but lightweight zinc alloy in aid to preserve the original condition for as long as possible. Visible on the outside are 4 main features: the fire button, airflow port, USB-C charging port and LED indicator. The airflow (found on the side of the pod) can be adjusted, to your ideal pull resistance, without the need of removing the pod.

The fire button is multi-functional as it fires the device and is used to turn it on and off (3 quick clicks) and switch power modes (2 quick clicks). The LED light will shine red for normal power and purple for boost mode (higher power which will deliver a fuller cloud and more flavour). However, you do not need to use the button to fire, the Sceptre 2 also featured auto-draw for a more reliable vaping experience.

Compatible with the Innokin S (Sceptre) Coils which conveniently use a push-to-fit technique making it quicker and mess-free when changing coils. The 2ml Sceptre 2 Pod is made of durable dark-tinted plastic for a stealthy look that lets you monitor your e-liquid level. A leak-proof fill plug is visible on the side of the pod which you pull/push back in when needing to refill the pod. 

The Sceptre 2 can be adjusted between 2 power settings: Normal(Blue LED Light) and Boost(Purple LED Light). Quickly double press the fire button to change the power. The normal setting will produce smooth and well-rounded vapour whereas the boost setting will give you a little bit more of a hit.

The choice is yours! Fire the Sceptre 2 by using the fire button or for a more cigarette-style feel, you can also just inhale and the device will fire for you. Button firing is more accurate and can help achieve a warmer vape with a slightly more noticeable hit.

Compared to the previous Sceptre Pod Kit, the updated Sceptre 2 offers more adjustability when it comes to airflow which is a massive bonus as you get a larger variety of airflow options to suit more people. In general, this device is great for MTL and possibly RDTL.

Fitting the Sceptre coils into the Sceptre 2 pod is quick and easy! Fit the gold adapter to the bottom of the coil and simply push it into place. Make sure you hold onto that gold adapter and use the same one for each coil you use.

A fine, small factor pod system with fantastic coils.

The original Sceptre was my first foray into a pod system, after 12 years, from using the original ecigs, through the first mods and pens, to the latest. I've always been fond of Innokin devices, from their first onwards, but I was never impressed by their coils, which always tasted metallic and didn't last long, so I tended to use their batteries with Smok tanks.
The Sceptre got good reviews though and as it was about as cheap as you could expect a good device to be, and the coils were also cheap, I thought that I'd try one. It soon became my main device, with great flavour, good vapour production and coils that last ages (much longer than their Z-coils, which don't taste as good either). The battery lasts about a day and charges quickly.
The Sceptre 2 improves on the original with USB-C and a much easier way to change the coils and the firing button moved to the front of the device, from the side, which many prefer. Not that you really need that, as a good condition coil will fire on drawing. You'll only need the firing button when your coil gets gunked up and old, until you get a chance to replace it, or when you want to turn the device off, or change the power setting.
The Sceptre is an ideal device for those who don't want to be fussed with changing wattage settings and all that malarky. Turn it on, suck and vape. That's all there is to it. It looks good, performs well and is a very economical device to use, with some of the cheapest and longest lasting coils you'll come across. It's slender enough to fit in any pocket too.
On the downsides. Unlike tanks, pods tend not to leak, but they do all sweat, which tends to mean that condensation will settle under the pod. As this uses draw to vape firing, it's all the more crucial that you address this. Get in the habit of pushing some tissue into the body with your little finger and cleaning any out (use a cotton bud if you have sausage fingers), whenever you top up your pod. Neglecting this can interfere with operation and you may have to rely on the firing button.
Another downside for some, is that the coils are very small (unbelievably so, considering their performance), so if you aren't too dextrous with your fingers, you may find swapping the collar on your coil, a bit too fiddly.
